Great. Food was excellent. Amazing portions on the dinner menu. Delivered hot and timely. Made with personal touch. Very romantic scene. Quiet atmosphere and very peaceful. Pretty much required reservations as we seen many people turned away. Staff was friendly, great to converse with.
Nice little ambience in here. I asked a few questions and went with their seafood platter. The salmon was really dense, the cod was cooked perfectly. The scallops were seared beautifully but cold in the middle. The potatoes were really buttery which was great. Service was bland, I think I came in with higher expectations. Cocktail list is very old school, the wine list has some good selections but could be updated in my opinion.
Such a great little restaurant which had been a downtown St. Johns stable for years. The atmosphere is quiet but friendly. Ask for a booth when you make a reservation. The menu is small and doesnt change much, which means they have it down to almost perfection. Prices reflect what is average for fine dining in downtown St. Johns. Excellent wine and drink menu as well.
Small but excellent restaurant in downtown St John's. Service and food is always great when we visit and with the small parking lot right next door parking is always easy in the evenings.Check out the wine cork collection along the wall... further proof of all the good time that have been enjoyed here.
For the record, the food that I ate did taste very good and enjoyed the experience myself.The one star vote is is derived from my wife getting food poisoning after eating here. A couple days from our East Court trip was ruined as a result.
