Overall a fun experience. Came here on a Monday night and it was so lively. The food was absolutely delicious. The oysters are a must. They give you a loud shout out if youre a oyster virgin. The fish taco is to die for!!! It is a must. The carnita taco was yummy as well. The crispy broccoli was okay, a little too much batter for my liking. And the dumplings were so good! The service could have been better. The bartenders were focused on a select group of people all night and felt like they were ignoring others. I recommend coming here for drinks and a bite. You wont be bored!
At 1245 Sunday afternoon we came in for a tasty light lunch. Not crowded but waitress was in a frenzy. We sat and then waited to order. 10 minutes later she arrived and took our order. 20 minutes later and nothing. 25 minutes passed then she brought my wife's tea but not my drink "bartender is busy" she said. 30 minutes passed then she dropped my Caesar on the table, spilling out the oyster onto the table. I'll get another she said...but didn't show up. After 40 minutes no food and no drink so we left. Waitress only shrugged. Loud music. Terrible staff and apparently cooks that don't care or work hard. AVOID THIS PLACE.
A-ma-zing food, incredible cocktails, incredible atmosphere, best service ever. And those shots though . Everything has such a wonderful taste, from brussel sprouts to Kobe beef and albacore tuna. This was my best restaurant experience in Canada and one of the best in my life.I never leave reviews but Adelaide deserves one. I am from Montreal and I think that no matter where you live you should go to St John's and try this place.
Great little spot to grab a beer and fish taco (crispy fish taco is deadly) they change the menu so they're current but took away most of the best ones in my opinion. The service has went a little down. The service now is robotic and not very personable. The music and atmosphere is great for getting in the mood to hit the town. If you're looking for a spot to chat and be intimate do not go here, it can be pretty loud.
Oh my god. Food was too good, staff where fun and lively, greeter even remembered our names. Fried broccoli changed what we thought broccoli could be. Cocktails where also unique and fun. Best food on the rock so far as we could taste!
