Best campground located within st. Johns. Large park with good walking trails
Clean well laid out campground. Close to everything. Nice well manicured entrance. The roads were very well marked. Security round the clock. It had a laundry mat too. I would definitely recommend it, as I would not hesitate to return.
They try their best BUT can't really use site sewer as a dump... it can only take a tiny trickle before overflowing. (AND the closest bath house commodes out of order for a day), sites are very tight for large rig to maneuver into, and a couple of sites had iffy electric. Had a great time!
Great location, very well organized, clean, quiet, friendly staff. No complaints all. Prices are great compared to many places, and you are in the city. 24 hour staffed, gate controlled office, store, laundry facilities, great for families.
Location is great, sites are great but it seems to be run by young people with no one that is willing to enforce the rules. Our neighbours dogs barks constantly and had company galore. They thought yelling at each other was an expectable form or communication. The park says no open burning so everyone brings their own metal fire pits. The washrooms are looking a little tired. Notices were given every few days to say dont use the sewer system due to problems.It is a lovely spot but need more attention to supervision and management.
