We stayed here with a U14 girls softball team for 5 nights had a great time. The customer service was fantastic. They let us use the banquet room on a number of occasions for team lunches and evening functions. Each room had a fridge for our food/drinks and a microwave was provided upon request. The night manager Gary was excellent and very accommodating to our teams needs. I truly can't thank them enough for all they did for us during our stay.
One of the magic places with so nice infrastrucfure and location.It has a park territory with a pond in the middle, where you always can feed ducks, seagulls and pigeons. Truly relaxing.Stylish from the inside and classy from outside.You'll remember time spent there, especially meeting a brand new day during sunrise with a hot cup of well brewed coffee and latest issue of a local newspaper.Perfect area to settle down for a future retirement.
The restaurant in the hotel needs to develop some skills in courtesy. They were very rude to us and we chose to eat elsewhere.It would have been nice to have a hot tub.
Rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of parking. East Side Mario's in the lobby. Convenient location to airport, Memorial U or downtown
It is a challenge for the Holiday Inn. They are trying to promote and run this old facilty as a modern hotel. No matter what the rooms are small and the bathrooms are smaller. A ' suite ' may not even have such basic things as a microwave...or a mini fridge with a freezer compartment ....things you take for granted when your paying for a suite. It should co continue to survive because of its great location. They would do well to consider a total renovation effort , where the hotel is completely gutted, section by section and bought up to modern standards to be comparable to its signature brand hotels
