They have done an extraordinary job revamping this restaurant. This is now, by far, the best buffet in St. John's.
Ideal for having your dinner with friends, Family members or as a small group. Its a buffet with many choices. Worthy for the price. Usually around 20-30$ pp beverage extra. Staff is very friendly, fast and caring. Nothing to complain about.
Cold food. Even right when lunch started. Has gone way down hill. Told the server that the food was cold and wasn't great and got an 'ok'.... They don't even care that their food is garbage.
I ordered Vegetable chow mein from Citylight buffet, and was surprised and disappointed to see a dish of just vegetables when I was expecting noodles. I went back to complain and the hostess immediately understood my problem, and got the kitchen to make Lo Mein (which is the noodle dish I thought I was going to get). The host and the lady at the counter diffused the situations with Grace and information, so I walked away with good food, a lesson on a culture I didn't know enough about, and a new preferred restaurant. Wonderful staff.
Great location, perfect for lunch.Food is a little bland, I won't lie, but it's usually fresh and enjoyable, especially if you show up at buffet open.Supper buffet is more expensive, but offers a wider variety of food options than the lunch buffet.Ordering off the menu is usually hit or miss, some food is amazing, other not so much.Staff are extremely courteous and service is awesome, every time I go to the buffet, my table is usually clean by the time I get back.Resturant is clean and appealing.Stop by for your next lunch. You'll have a good time.
