I was accused of theft. I bought a half dozen hard orange drinks and went home. They needed a bottle opener I didn't have so I stopped into sobeys with a couple on my person before going to see my friend at the mall. Over a half hour had passed and I didn't even step into the liquor store and when I left sobeys the guard came out accusing me, no evidence. They demanded a receipt but I never got one. I wasn't asked either. I remember precisely because after I made my purchase I went into the back of the store for the free ice-cream scoop with my purchase and was aware I did not have my receipt making my way out. They checked the cameras and cleared me but still wasted my time. I bought here for a year but not anymore
